Publications

The early days of Remnant Christian Assembly's ministerial operation were marked and delivered mostly by the written word—publications. Our operation in this arena is still quite active, as we continue to produce and provide written ministerial resources in the form of books, digests, pamphlets, online exhortations, and even Pastor Hood's notes from services.

For your edification and to help provide a taste of the grace of God through Remnant Christian Assembly, we've provided links to a few of our resources—from service notes to Sunday Morning Prelude (our internally-published "Sunday School" booklet) to Cry Aloud (our weekly e-mail exhortational)—and will provide additional resources in near future.

• Overcoming the Curse
  Synopsis: Genesis 3:16 says “Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.” Many have been taught that the phrase “thy desire shall be to thy husband” is sexual in nature. Careful and prayerful study, however, reveals something different — something downright sinister — an innate, unending, and passionate desire to rule over the man, coupled with the man remaining in the main position of authority. This book addresses what we’ll refer to for the sake of discussion and edification as “the curse” — how we can identify it and how we can overcome it.
